Joyce Wishart Managing Director JOYCE WISHART, MANAGING DIRECTOR
Joyce Wishart founded NALH Bookkeeping Services in 1977 as a one-woman operation that has now grown into one of the largest bookkeeping firms in British Columbia. Joyce enjoys working closely with clients in Canada and the United States to serve their financial operations and business management needs.

Joyce’s experience spans a wide range of clients of all shapes, sizes and in a variety of industries, including: financial services, medical products, non-profit organizations, government, entertainment and film industries. Joyce’s clear understanding of business requirements – from simple to sophisticated – enables her to help clients better understand their day-to-day financial realities and manage their organizations more effectively.
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Joyce attended George Brown College and worked in public practice after graduating and has continued to further her education throughout her career. Joyce and her husband currently reside in Burnaby, British Columbia.
   
   
Cherie Harbour Director of Operations & Client Services CHERIE HARBOUR, DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SERVICES
In her role as Director of Client Services, Cherie is responsible for managing staff, supporting client relationships and providing specialized bookkeeping services to Canadian subsidiaries and local entertainment clients. Cherie brings to the NALH team a strong background in accounting, personnel administration and customer service management acquired in a number of different business environments. Her collegial leadership style and professionalism boost morale, keep the office humming and help clients examine their business, bookkeeping challenges and determine the most effective way of managing them. Born in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Cherie has completed a number of post-secondary accounting and management principle courses.  Cherie and her family reside in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
   
   
Mo Abdulla, T1/T2 Tax Specialist MO ABDULLA, OPERATIONS
Mohamed Abdulla comes to NALH with a CGA designation that he received in 1981 in Vancouver. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of East Africa. Mo was born in East Africa and immigrated to Canada in 1972.

Since moving to Vancouver, he has worked as a senior accountant in a large business setting and had the opportunity to combine his accounting knowledge with operations management for a total of 31 years. Mo and his wife currently reside in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

   
   
Jason Zheng Senior Accounting Technician JASON ZHENG, PAYROLL & SENIOR ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
A core member of the NALH staff, Jason Zheng holds the position of Senior Accounting Technician. His role on the team includes  providing full-cycle bookkeeping, accounting and payroll services to NALH clients. Jason brings to NALH more than 12 years of international experience as an accounting professional.

He has worked in the accounting field since graduating from Wuhan University in China in Financial Management in 1992. His career began as an Accounting Clerk, Internal Auditor, followed by a promotion to Accounting Department Manager of a public company. In October 2007, Jason graduated from CDI College with Diploma in Accounting and Payroll Administration.
Jason is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and earned International Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) certificates.

   
   
Barbara Skogg Accounting Technician BARB SKOGG, OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR & ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
A veteran member of our staff, Barb brings more than 8 years of accounting experience to her role at NALH. As an Accounting Technician and QuickBooks Training Specialist, Barb is responsible for managing bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio, including new and yearly clients, special projects and training clients in QuickBooks best practices.

Barb’s solid background in customer service, organizational skills and extensive accounting software experience makes her a knowledgeable addition to the NALH team.  

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Barb continues to further her post-secondary education in administration and accounting and has recently completed the Dale Carnegie course in Effective Communications and Human Relations. Barb and her family reside in the Vancouver area.

   
   
Agnes Yang Accounting Technician AGNES YANG, SENIOR ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
Having joined the NALH staff in 2006, Agnes brings extensive experience in both on-site and off-site full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll and tax preparation to the NALH team.  Agnes also is well-versed in working with a variety of accounting software, such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks (US) Simply Accounting, Accpac and MYOB.

Agnes’ strong analytical skills help her to delve into a client’s account and ensure that their systems are set up properly and to diagnose any issues quickly.

Agnes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics  and continues to further her education by enrolling in a variety of accounting courses. Originally from Taiwan, Agnes and her family re-located to Vancouver in 1999.

   
   
Cherry Mo Accounting Technician CHERRY MO, SENIOR ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
A veteran member of the NALH team, Cherry’s brings strong financial analysis skills to her position. Cherry's focus at NALH includes handling remote clients and coordinating special projects.

With more than 3 years experience in accounting-related information technology, Cherry has completed a post-secondary course of study in accounting. Born in mainland China, Cherry resides in the Vancouver area with her family.
   
   
Maggie Ye Accounting Technician MAGGIE YE, ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
A recent addition to NALH’s staff, Maggie works as an Accounting Technician, providing bookkeeping services to a wide array of NALH’s clients. With more than 3 years experience in data analysis, Maggie has completed an Accounting & Payroll Administration program and received her Certificate of Canadian Payroll Practitioner issued by the Canadian Payroll Association. Born in Mainland China, Maggie now resides in the Vancouver area with her family.
   
   
Denise Taylor Accounting Technician DENISE TAYLOR, ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
Denise brings over 15 years of experience in the accounting field and a strong background in payroll and small business management. As a small business owner herself, she has strong grasp of the nuances of running a small business. Denise has also earned her third-level CGA through the CGA Association of BC.

Originally from the East Coast, Denise now lives in Burnaby with her husband and two children.

   
   
Denise Taylor Accounting Technician CONNIE JIANG, T1 / T2 SPECIALIST
The newest addition to the NALH staff, Connie holds a Bachelor's Degree of Science and graduated from McGill University's Accounting Diploma program in 2004. Connie brings more than 5 years experience working in Chartered Accountant firms to her position at NALH.

Originally from China, Connie immigrated to Canada in 2001 and lives in Burnaby with her family.

   
   
Linda Andrews Human Resources Professional LINDA ANDREWS, HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
Vancouver-born and Canadian-educated, Linda Andrews is an entrepreneur, human resource professional and a life-long learner. As a Manager and Consultant, Linda has conducted searches and hired for senior positions, negotiated and interpreted contracts, developed and managed all aspects of human resources, created and managed diverse companies and taught/trained business people from a variety of backgrounds through public education facilities and custom training.

Linda provides human resources consulting services to a variety of companies and institutions as well as serving as an instructor for business education.  Full of energy and a ready smile, Linda is always ready to take on new challenges.

   
   
Carly H. Franklin, MGDC - Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer CARLY H. FRANKLIN, MARKETING COORDINATOR
Having worked with NALH for a number of years as a consultant, Carly comes to the NALH team with more than 10 years experience in corporate branding, graphic design and marketing. Carly is charged with spearheading NALH’s marketing efforts and maintaining a consistent presence for the company in social media.

Carly’s background in corporate identity and branding work includes a wide variety of graphic design and marketing projects including: identity, print, packaging and web projects with clients throughout the US and Canada. She is an active Professional Member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada.

Originally a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
